Victoria Genest

Argentinian born and Canadian based vocalist Victoria Genest began her musical journey in Buenos Aires at the Conservatory López Buchardo, where she focused on classical vocal training. She later performed as an actress with the theatre company The Buenos Aires Players, touring across southern Argentina.

After relocating to Alberta, Canada in 2012, Victoria expanded her studies into jazz, training with acclaimed artists Jane Monheit and Sol Liebeskind. She has since performed with some of Calgary's most talented musicians, sharing her voice at restaurants, cafés, and private events throughout Calgary and Edmonton, including The Red Room (YEG), Charbar, Asylum for Art, Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant, and Gravity Espresso & Wine Bar.

Latest Release

Her debut single, It Might As Well Be Spring, is out now. The track was recorded during her last trip to Argentina in July 2022 at Estudio Dr. F in Buenos Aires, featuring Juan Bayón on double bass and Ornella Contreras on piano.
